A warming cup of tea, an inspiring sip of espresso, a gentle cloud of cappuccino – these are the simple pleasures in life that we have worked to make accessible to everyone. The history of MAY is a story of a big dream and a genuine love for people.
More than 30 years ago, Ceylon tea appeared in Russia in a new way – delicious, strong, and aromatic. It was brought from Sri Lanka by MAY. Consumers warmly welcomed this gift, and regular supplies of tea from the world’s best plantations soon followed.
The company’s first brands, May Tea and Lisma, quickly won the hearts of Russian consumers. They became symbols of family comfort, warmth, and true Russian tea‑drinking. Our teas have regularly received quality awards, and MAYSKY has been recognised as the country’s most famous tea brand, winning the “Brand No. 1 in Russia” award.
In 1998, the company opened its own production facility in the Moscow region, where it began producing tea in all popular formats – loose leaf, teabags, and pyramids. A few years later, MAY introduced its first coffee brand, COFFESSO. Today, the company’s portfolio includes several brands: MAYSKY tea, CURTIS, RICHARD, Santar, Lisma, Zavarkin, as well as COFFESSO coffee and FACE TO FACE. Each brand has its own character and values, so consumers can easily find their favourite drink among MAY products.
